Do customs charges apply when I send a parcel?
If custom charges are applied to a parcel, this at the discretion of the customs service of the country the parcel is being sent to, and we have no control over these charges. If charges are imposed on the parcel, the recipient of the parcel will be contacted by customs directly for payment for the charges. Failure to pay for the parcel will result in the parcel being held, returned, or destroyed, and additional costs may be incurred for the parcel which will be passed onto the sender of the parcel. If Worldwide Parcel Services Ltd receive any duty or vat charges billed to their account for these parcels these charges for the parcels will in turn be billed to you the sender of the parcel, with a 10% administration charge (minimum £10.00 +VAT) added.
Shipments to Russia, Croatia, Norway, and Switzerland, attract an automatic customs clearance charge of £25.00. This is for clearance only, and import duties and taxes may still be applied.
To check the customs duty liability of your parcel please call the customs helpline on 0845 010 9000.
Are there any countries you do not send to?
Yes, we currently do not send parcels to Turkey, Nigeria, and Ghana, due to the difficulties with either customs clearance and delivery coverage for parcels in these countries.
